Greetings from Dave & Pat Bilbrough

I first remember meeting you, Helmut, when we shared a meal at the Christian booksellers convention in 1980. I’d already recorded a few albums by then, but I was impressed by your wise words of counsel. I had yet to meet Elisabeth, but that delight was soon to follow. Subsequent albums and recordings down at ICC cemented my thoughts about that initial introduction as I, along with Pat and many before and after, were to benefit from the experience and care that you both beautifully demonstrated. You have given security and confidence to so many of us as we have journeyed along the creative sphere.

It was some time in the mid to late 90s that I remember being involved in the Songs of Praise broadcasts at the legendary bandstand at Eastbourne. For me the day was made perfect by hearing once again the two of you share a song with simple heartfelt harmonies from your LP recording called “Gentle Breeze”. Sincerity shone through - you were/are such a dynamic duo! In fact that song was so well received by the BBC that the original album received airplay on Don MacLean’s show on Radio 2. In fact I understand that it provoked ICC to do a limited re-release!

Helmut and Elisabeth, you have been a blessing to countless individuals. May you never underestimate the spiritual legacy you have given to many aspiring artists and creatives! May this stage of your lives be greatly blessed!
