Peter and Rosemary Meadows add their bit

What more can be said that will add value to the love and affection already splashed by others over this tribute? The answer is ‘lots’ – because there are not enough words to express how valued you both are as colleagues, fellow-travellers and special friends.

Indeed, your faithful and sacrificial service for God has so often made possible what we - and so many others - have done. Without you we would all have been poorer in so many ways

To put it simply, it has been an honour to have walked with you over these many years. As we often say to each other as we drive away after yet another gastronomic masterpiece, ‘They are just the nicest people. How good to have them as our friends’.

What particularly makes you special is your servant hearts and gentle spirit. Oh, and you laugh a lot too. And are not short on the klunken klinken. If fact you remind us of your favourite wine – Spätlese. Because you keep on maturing, have an enduring sparkle and go down best with food.

It is amazing to think about how much of our lives you have been part of. And we look forward to more of the same over the years of your much deserved retirement.
