An serious word from Dave Cooke (not!)

I have very fond memories of working with Helmut and Elisabeth at ICC, on some very dodgy albums! Best not to dwell on those. Although I expect they will all come back to haunt us at some time in our lives!
I loved the feeling that it was like working at home with Elisabeth appearing like "Mum" just at the right time. And Helmut always there to listen and encourage. Shame however that neither of them could tune the steam piano!!!

I do remember a wonderful BBQ (Christian shorthand!) we had in the Mews whilst working with Mr and Mrs J. Williams (You know who you are!) and her second album. An amazing spread of food, wine, deserts, laughter and general silliness. Not to mention the Seagulls the morning after (poooh!) Where can I send the bill for the bodywork repairs?

Loved it all especially when the odd budget stretched to a breakfast at The Grand. Doing what you did those years ago in Eastbourne was a miracle then and remains one to this day. A serious standing ovation to you both!! Love you.
