Well what can we say! It has been an incredible time working and socialising with you for over 12 years. We are so grateful to you both for your constant faithfulness to God, your overflowing trust in God, wisdom and encouragement.
We probably would not have made it to Eastbourne if you had not been so persistent in hearing God’s heart. For that we are grateful – especially in the heat of summer! During a ‘childless’ season you were a comfort and encouragement to us, something we will never forget you for.
You opened our eyes to new things, the joy of the raclette, schnapps, great stories and wonderful home made cakes in the middle of the morning! It was great being able to share a stage with you in Germany in front of black t-shirted, mullet wearing German rock fans who gave you a great response – a wonderful memory!
You are a great team and no doubt God has more adventures in store for you. You have incredible faith and childlike trust in God – I am sure you are not going to lose that.
We pray that as you step back from the day to day pressures and move into a new area that you will find some rest. Without doubt God will give you the desires of your heart, you have been more than faithful servants this far.
It was a pleasure to have worked with you both, it has been a pleasure being ‘fathered’ and befriended by you both. Enjoy this new season!
