Hello From Trevor and Rachel Michael

H – HELMUT – You are the man who put your trust in me and gave me a job at ICC 14 years ago as a trainee-recording engineer. I owe you a great deal. You taught me about lining up 2-inch tape machines. Told stories about how it was done in the old days. Would say ‘Don’t worry young man just trust in God’ when the desk blew up in the middle of a session. You are an example to us all about putting God first in every decision you make in life however big or small. You’re respected by those in the Christian music industry and among everyone who I have met in the studio and duplication industry.

E – ELISABETH - You married Elisabeth who cooked for me and brought me cakes when I was a young single bachelor who couldn’t do such things on my own!!! Not only her cakes but also the pick me up drinks she would make Dave Lynch and me after all night sessions in the studio. What do you put in those Elisabeth? Is it all legal substances?

L – LOVE – You are still in love after all these years. Elisabeth do you remember the day at ICC when Helmut was ill and you told the story about the doctor asking you what colour Helmut’s tongue was? You told him you did not look at it, you just touched it. That’s the French for you…

M- MARRIAGE – You prayed for Rach and I on our wedding day. We won’t forget that.

U – UNIQUE – You are a unique couple. At your house Helmut will try to pour the German wine while Elisabeth will insist on the French. You make great music together. I recorded you in the studio a few years ago when you appeared on Songs of Praise. You stood around the same mic and sang an old song and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. You are more rock n roll than Elvis. You have the X factor.

T – Treu Anhänger – You have both been faithful in all you’ve done. You’ve set a high standard for us all, and we’ve learned so much from you both. God bless you in all you do in the future. You’ll be missed around the studio but I guess we’ll see you both at the bingo.

Lots of love

Trevor, Rachel, Robbie and Joe.
